Our “Student Bursary Program” offers students the opportunity to sing in a professional setting with exceptional performers and an orchestra, a rare opportunity in Northern Ontario. Opera Gala… Opera for a Cause is excited to continue the fourth pillar of our mission, “improving educational opportunities for young northern musicians”, for our third year this spring. Following an audition process, students sing chorus with the Gala and experience the dedication and commitment needed to create a professional performance and the thrill of singing with an orchestra. Time permitting, the students will also be featured together in their own student number. The majority of our students have gone on to successful careers in music!
