BIO – Raymond Gauthier – Tenor/ Baritone

Raymond is an accomplished vocalist with more than two decades of performing experience. He studied under the instruction of Tammy Rodgers, Marion Harvey and is currently under the tutelage of Pamela Teed. His regional performing credits include: Young Ebenezer (Ebenezer), Mr. Macy (Miracle on 34th Street), and Robertson Aye (Marry Poppins). He recently performed as part of a guest group with the North Bay Symphony Orchestra and is Assistant Conductor to The Near North Voices choir in North Bay. In 2018, he fulfilled a lifelong dream of singing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, performing Dan Forrest’s Requiem with members of Near North Voices and several other choirs under conductor Martha Banghart. He currently works at the North Bay Regional Health centre as a Registered Practical Nurse and is a clinical technologist for the Practical Nursing program at Canadore College.
