Ken Mak is a dynamic singer who has great vocal flexibility in both the tenor and countertenor range. Ken has been a past member of the McMaster University Choir, Tempus Choral society and the alto lead for Centenary Chancel Choir. Ken has sung with Ottawa Choral Society and Ewashko Singers in Ottawa. Ken has performed the as a soloist in the Messiah, Daley Requiem, and the Seven Last Words by Dubois, and Einhorn’s voices of light. Recent engagements have involved singing as a soloist for the Ottawa Choral Society and Musica Abraica concerts. Ken also sang the role Nireno in Handel’sĀ Giulio Cesare in Egitto with OperOttawa last year. He studies under the direction of Tom Schilling with Vocalway Studios in Hamilton. Apart from singing, Ken is currently a teacher in Ottawa.
