BIO – Darquise Poulin (Soprano/Mezzo-soprano)

Darquise Poulin

Darquise Poulin is a life-long student of music accredited by the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her many performing credits include community projects such as Northern Lights Festival Boreal Sudbury, La Nuit sur l’étang, Les Jeux de la francophonie Canadienne, Huit Femmes (TNO), various fundraisers and many more.

As a director, she led the Troubadours choir of Sudbury. She also founded and directed the children’s choir, La Relève.

She has conducted workshops for programs such as Mélomanie, le Festival Quand Ça Nous Chante and Radio Chaud.

She is excited to be performing for the first time with the Opera for a Cause group.
